Excellent. Now we don’t have to water our plants nearly as much! And you can see when it’s needed without guessing.
Plus it looks cool.  (via NOTCOT)

Hubcaps! Hubcaps… Make something cool - here is a pile of hubcaps. Knock yourself out. Talk about some interesting constraints.

Clever… Very clever… I love that the smiley face is just shown in the word without resorting to any funky punctuation.

“A quarterly series of independently produced books. Each one will be on a central storytelling theme, and include personal stories, articles, and original art. They will come out quarterly. They will be awesome.”
Aaron and I both have a subscription, and I think they’re amazing. Collections of great stories with great illusrations that are all around a given theme. They need some more subscribers to keep publishing and I want to keep getting them… If you’re interested even a little, please take a look and order yourself a subscription. You will not be dissapointed!

Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (B.A.R.F.) barfproducts.com - Can’t tell if it’s real or not… They’re paying for Google Adwords… If it’s a joke, they’re spending decent cash on telling it…
Noonhat: Networking for Lunch
Here’s a cool little application that lets you put in your email, location, and how far you are willing to travel for lunch - and it hooks you up with people who want to have lunch in the same area. That’s cool.
Talk about never eating lunch alone! (I hear that’s some business networking rule)

How NOT to pick a slogan for your new business

After seeing a few of these today, I wondered how many I could find in 15 minutes. Here’s what I came up with:

Create. Organize. Share. Connect. (blist)
Experience. Share. Connect. (geotract)
Connect. Share. Live. (KIJIG)
Create. Share. Connect. (Factory Joe)
Discover. Share. Connect. Discuss. (InfoAddict)
Play. Share. Connect. (PSC Site)
Express. Share. Connect. Enjoy. (Gapuchi)
Share. Connect. Grow. Act. (Get Real)
Remember. Share. Connect. (Memoloop)
Watch. Listen. Share. Connect. (Ruckus Network)
Create. Share. Discover. Connect. (Fraxi)
Create. Connect. Share. (MateCube)
Share. Learn. Connect. Make a Difference. (Care2)
Connect. Share. Care. (UPHS)
Connect. Share. Grow. (Annese)
Share. Connect. Grow. (4marks)
Create. Share. Change the World. (connect2earth)
Connect. Engage. Innovate. (I-Open)
Engage. Learn. Connect. (TeachTown)
Connect. Attract. Engage. (Xuropa)
Think. Engage. Connect. (OPB)
Create. Share. Sell. (Hurox)
Create. Vote. Share. (Twiigs)
Dream. Create. Share. (Pod Collective)
Play. Create. Share. (Yuva)
Create. Share. Earn. (open4)
Create. Send. Share. (MPLIX)
Print. Create. Share. (hp DP)
Create. Attract. Engage. Connect (TM2)

..and that’s just barely scratching the surface.

37signals warned about this several years ago, but some marketing folks apparently didn’t get the memo.
